Tucked away on the serene private island at The Fish Hotel, I had the absolute joy of capturing a surprise proposal for Charlie and Tecla alongside The Cotswold Proposal Planners. When I got the call about photographing this proposa, I knew it was going to be something special, but I don’t think I was prepared for just how magical it would be.

I arrived early to help setup. We had to row the flowers, pictures and candles over to the island and get everything ready. The moment Charlie and Tecla stepped into the boat, the world seemed to quiet around them. Through my lens, I saw her face transform from surprise to pure, overwhelming happiness and in that instant, I knew I was witnessing the start of a beautiful new chapter.
