The Plan: Creating a Meaningful Moment
Tyler reached out with a clear vision: he wanted a private, romantic proposal that felt magical without being overwhelming. After discussing ideas with The Cotswold Proposal Planners, he chose the grounds of De Vere Tortworth Court, a stunning Victorian estate known for its gardens, architecture and fairy-tale feel.
The planners transformed the Tortworth Court bandstand into a glowing, candlelit hideaway. Lanterns lined the pathway, florals framed the entrance, and soft golden light created the perfect backdrop for a heartfelt “yes.”
As a proposal photographer and videographer in the Cotswolds, I arrived early to capture the details and plan out the angles so I could document everything discreetly.

When Tyler arrived with Georgia, the atmosphere was perfect, quiet, intimate and warm. As they stepped into the bandstand, Georgia instantly knew something special was happening.
Tyler dropped to one knee.
Her reaction was pure joy. Tears, laughter, hugs, the kind of moments that make this job feel like magic. I captured everything as it unfolded naturally, followed by a short engagement session around the Tortworth Court grounds.
