Sam & Lucy
There are few places in the UK as effortlessly romantic as Euridge Manor. With its sweeping Cotswold countryside views, fairytale architecture, and hidden gardens, it’s the kind of place that feels like it’s been plucked straight from a storybook. So when The Cotswold Proposal Planners invited me to capture their beautifully styled ‘My Heart is Yours’ proposal setup here, I knew it was going to be unforgettable.
The setup was nothing short of breathtaking. It was beautifully hot Summer day and a dreamy blend of romance and elegance. Picture a secluded corner of the estate dressed with cascading florals, delicate candlelight, and an intimate picnic styled to perfection. The words ‘Will You Marry Me’ hung as the centrepiece, a heartfelt declaration that made the moment feel even more personal and meaningful.
When Sam and Lucy arrived, there was that wonderful split second where time seemed to pause. The surprise on Lucy’s face, the way Sam’s hands shook ever so slightly, the laughter and happy tears; every emotion unfolded naturally, framed by the golden Cotswold light that danced across the manor’s stone walls.
Sam and Lucy had been clear from the start, they wanted truly luxurious photography services to reflect the significance of their day. Every element of the experience, from the timeless composition of each image to the way their love story was documented, was crafted with the same care and attention as the proposal itself. It was one of those moments they’ll both replay in their minds forever.
Euridge Manor truly offers a backdrop like no other, and working alongside The Cotswold Proposal Planners always guarantees something spectacular. Every tiny detail, from the choice of blooms to the carefully curated colour palette, was crafted with love, ensuring the proposal felt deeply personal to Sam and Lucy.
It’s moments like these that remind me why I adore photographing proposals. They’re not just fleeting events; they’re life-changing, joy-filled milestones, and it was an absolute privilege to capture them.
