This week, I had the absolute joy of capturing a magical surprise proposal at the breathtaking Euridge Manor in the Cotswolds. Vidit and Sehr had flown in from Delhi with his partner Sehr, not knowing that this trip would hold one of the most beautiful moments of their lives. Working alongside Rhodri Spearing and The Cotswold Proposal Planners, we created a setting that was straight out of a dream.

Euridge Manor is a place that already feels like a fairytale, but on this sunny day, it was transformed into something even more enchanting. The space was adorned with soft white and blush-pink florals, delicate sprays of baby’s breath, and scattered pale pink rose petals, the perfect romantic backdrop for this once-in-a-lifetime moment.

As Sehr stepped into the grounds and the boathouse came into her view, her eyes lit up. She followed the trail of petal. When Vidit to one knee, the moment seemed to stand still, the joy, surprise, and love in her eyes said it all.

The Cotswold Proposal Planner’s attention to detail made this event flow effortlessly. From the timing to the floral styling, every element was carefully planned to keep the surprise intact while allowing me to capture each reaction naturally.

There’s something uniquely intimate about proposals, they’re filled with pure emotion, anticipation, and joy. Unlike a wedding day, there’s no audience, no set schedule, just two people in the middle of a life-changing moment. Capturing those raw, unfiltered expressions is one of my favourite parts of being a photographer.
